Erciyas Rail manufactures aluminium and steel carbodies for metro, commuter, tram and DMU vehicles. It is Türkiye's first and only manufacturer of aluminium passenger carbodies; its Hendek plant in Sakarya houses the aluminium carbody production line, where 144 metro carbodies for Hyundai EURotem's Istanbul M7 and M12 fleets have been in production since 2023.

Yes. Erciyas Rail entered the passenger market in 2024 with locally produced aluminium carbodies and is Türkiye's first and only manufacturer of aluminium passenger carbodies. Current work includes 144 metro carbodies for Istanbul lines M7 and M12 and 28 commuter carbodies for Gaziray.
Advanced aluminium MIG and TIG welding, as used on the TÜRASAŞ Gaziray carbodies. Carbody frames are also produced on the 48 m CLOOS robotic welding line.
